Best "Snickerdoodles" Ever!



I've tried so many Snickerdoodle recipes where the cookie ends up being hard after only 10 minutes.  

NOT THESE!

This recipe will give you the chewiest Snickerdoodles ever!  

They are super chewy up to a full week!

My Snickerdoodles are the most requested cookies at my Husbands' work! 

Ingredients:
makes 40 cookies

1/2 c butter (room temp)
1/2 c shortening (room temp)
3/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c sugar
2 eggs (room temp)
1 tsp vanilla
5.1 oz instant vanilla pudding mix
2 1/4 c flour
1 tsp baking soda

Cinnamon Sugar:
3 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions:
  1. Beat 1/2 c butter, 1/2 c shortening, 1/4 c sugar, 3/4 c brown sugar.
  2. Add 2 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla.
  3. Add vanilla instant pudding mix.
  4. Add 2 1/4 c flour and 1 tsp of baking soda.
  5. Mix together 3 Tbsp sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon.
  6. With a spoon, sprinkle cinnamon sugar onto rolled dough.
  7. Bake in 350 degree oven for 11 minutes
  8. Let cookies rest on baking sheet for 3 minutes.
